The brief To assist the newly appointed CEO of an outwardly successful, 25 year-old manufacturing company to share a vision of growth, through acquisition and diversification, with middle managers who are preoccupied with day-to-day imperatives.

PeopleSolve's action plan Within a strict, four-week timetable, to understand fully, and buy-in to, the chief executive officer's vision for the business, and explore the nature and extent of the preoccupations that limit middle managers' time and (possibly) restrict their imagination.

The work programme envisages individual and team discussions with senior managers, and an audit of middle managers' attitudes to the future of the company. Then implementation of a change programme, with a series of workshops and events that develop collaborative working relationships with key personnel; ensure that the CEO's vision and strategies are clearly understood; and equip senior and middle managers with the skills, knowledge and attitude to live the vision …
