| Course aims: |
Facilitation skills are vital for
anyone who runs meetings,
manages teams, delivers presentations or is responsible for training
staff. This course examines the facilitation process and provides
delegates with a host of skills and techniques which will enable
them to facilitate a variety of events and meetings. |

Anyone wishing to develop and/or
improve their
facilitation techniques. |

Two days (9.30 am to 4.30 pm) |
| Prerequisites: |
Some experience in managing groups
or teams would be
desirable, but is not essential. |
| Training method: |
Highly interactive and participative
format that will
give delegates plenty of opportunity to practise a range of facilitation
techniques. This will be accompanied by formal input, group discussions
and debate. |
| Evaluation method: |
Variety of formal and informal
practical exercises.
Assessment will be provided in various ways including observation
of practical individual and group activities. Constructive feedback
will be provided along with an individual development plan where
required. |
