John Kind
John has twenty-five years of experience of designing, facilitating and
presenting training programmes and workshops for directors and
executives, in both small and large organisations. He has worked in
thirty countries worldwide. John specialises in business education, with
a focus on commercial and financial skills. He holds an MBA from the
Manchester Business School and an honours degree in Economics.
John’s client list includes BAA, Babcock International, Barclays, the
BBC, BP, BT, the Institute of Directors and the John Lewis Partnership.
He has recently received an award from BP’s financial university. John
is a Visiting Lecturer at the Graduate School of Business, University of
Strathclyde, and is also the author of two text books on Accounting and
Finance.

Chris Milburn
Chris is a Business Development and Training Consultant, specialising in
providing companies with behaviour change programmes to increase their
sales and bidding performance. Following a successful career as a
government research scientist, Chris branched out into Business
Development in 2003, working for a number of companies before setting up
his own consultancy in 2006.

Working with a range of leading consultants in the UK, Chris has access
to some of the best suppliers of change management at his disposal. He
is an outgoing, professional and engaging person with a vast range of
knowledge and experience that lends insight and value to Business
Development practices.

Shan Williams
Shan is an exceptional trainer, focussing on the soft skills of
management and organisational development. She is dedicated to the
advancement of individuals, enabling people to achieve their full
potential. She also has a wide range of experience in the furthering of
innovative methods in education and training.

A specialist in personal development, customer service, first line
management and image training, Shan has experience of working within a
wide range of cultures and a variety of environments and sectors,
including corporate, local government and the health services. Shan is a
confident and outgoing individual with limitless energy and enthusiasm,
coupled with a positive attitude and a proven track record in soft
skills training.

Mike Long
Mike specialises in developing team managers and leaders. He has held a
number of executive positions with global organisations. Since 1992 Mike
has been Managing Partner of Mike Long Associates (MLA), employing some
ten Associate Trainers and People Development specialists. Clients range
in size and type, from local authorities to global manufacturing and
service sector companies to small local businesses.

Mike is a Fellow of the Institute for Leadership and Management (ILM)
and a Director and Fellow of the British Institute for Learning and
Development (BILD).

Jen Syrkiewicz
Jen is a writer with a wealth of experience in winning proposals,
producing engaging copy and creating words that dance on the page. She
is also a communications and marketing specialist with a number of
years’ experience in the corporate field, managing and leading internal
communications teams. Her specialist areas include Social Computing, Web
2.0 writing, new media and bid, tender and proposal production. She
recently qualified as a Master practitioner of NLP.
